Ashley Brazil

Ashley Brazil is a ceramic artist based in Minneapolis. Influenced by painterly mark-making, ancient forms, and the tactile beauty of nature, her sculptures are conceptualized where these intersect with everyday utility. Her work is made entirely off of the wheel, where she uses various hand-building techniques to explore ideas of ritual, intuition, and transformation. For this reason, no two pieces are exactly alike.
