Made by Slagelse Møbelværk in the 1940s, this high back lounge chair has the dramatic proportions that define the Slagelse aesthetic. The solid beech frame remains sturdy, with copper coil springs in both the seat and backrest that speak to the quality of construction throughout. Reupholstered in Dedar's Schwarzwald in Verdure, a lush print that feels as though it was designed specifically for this chair. Made in Denmark, circa 1940s.

Shipping fees are not included in the price of your product. Brunel ships to the continental US and is unable to ship to PO Boxes. Rates will be calculated at checkout based on the item details, destination, and mode of shipping. Local delivery and pick-up options are available upon request. Upholstery: Our vintage pieces are newly upholstered with high quality textiles, primarily comprised of natural fibers - see product description for exact fiber contents. Due to natural variation between fibers and dye lots, there may be slight color variations between products. These variations add character and enhance the uniqueness of each piece. To preserve the longevity of your piece, we recommend professional cleaning or spot treatment only.
